Endoprosthesis replacement of the sternum handle in G<sub>1</sub> chondrosarcoma: clinical case

BACKGROUND: Malignant neoplasms with lesions of the chest are quite rare in sternum and range from 0.5 to 3.1% total number patients bone tumors all localizations. In this connection, there few publications describing tactics surgical treatment methods prosthetics formed defect. The present article describes a clinical case successful application an individual prosthesis manubrium G1 chondrosarcoma. CLINICAL CASE DESCRIPTION: observation 18-year-old patient chondrosarcoma sternum, prosthetics. CONCLUSION: use modern 3D technologies based on results CT modeling allows, not only plan volume necessary resection, but also manufacture high-tech prostheses by using printing replace defect planning sufficient support capacity function.
